The Rescue of Hidden and Lonely Hives x 3

We were so delighted to be allowed to adopt these lonely hidden hives. We are going to give them some TLC over the next week or so. We just needed to deal with the access first.

We understand that the Bee Keeper who owned these hives may have not been able to visit them since before COVID and lock down.

We are so looking forward to carefully looking after these three hives that are kind of Sisters. (Bit like us)

They have been fending for themselves for quite awhile. They have done well but are blessed with their homes being in a fabulous location. The fields at Bisterne Estate are a shear delight and a haven for any Bee, literally stacked full of foraging opportunities.
