Introducing our 2026 Poors Common (Spring) Runny Honey.
A new and quite different addition to Sticky Sisters Honey.
It shines with its light colour and a very delicate, subtle flavor.
Harvested from our Bees who live in a remote and idyllic location on Poors Common, which is part of The Hinton Admiral Estate.
A MESSAGE FROM THE SISTERS RE THE SPRING HARVEST
Here in the New Forest this year our bees are foraging on blossoms like Hawthorne , Borage , Blackthorne , Dandelion , Sweet Chestnut and Sycamore.
These spring nectars are naturally high in glucose, this causes quick, fine crystallization.
When we spin the comb the honey extracts in a runny consistency as we place it in the jar, but then the natural thickening and setting process may well begin.
So in short, initially the honey can be described as Runny but may naturally become Soft Set as time goes on.
This springtime pure, local honey is slightly thicker in consistency but still perfect for drizzling on just about anything or added as a natural sweetener to drinks.
